Tanzania Children's Village

Building hope: A thriving sanctuary for 500 special needs children

Our new Children’s Village will consist of four spacious children’s homes, with the capacity to house 500 special needs children. Each home includes three separate buildings. In addition, there will be a therapy center at the heart of the village, equipped with advanced equipment, staffed by qualified personnel. There will be two spacious communal kitchens, where children enjoy their meals and socialize with adults and peers. Moreover, we will build self-contained disability-friendly houses for single parents with special needs children, ensuring their safety and privacy while providing full access to medical care and facilities. We will also focus on permaculture to achieve food self-sufficiency, addressing the issue of malnutrition prevalent in Tanzania. This construction project is our biggest endeavor yet, and we are fully committed as an organization to make it a reality and drastically improve the lives of these children.

Funds donated to back this project will be used by the team as they are received.

The team has already secured 50 acres of land in the Chamwino District of Dodoma City, Africa, on which to build the village.

There are currently an estimated 7,500 special needs children within a 50 mile radius of the location, tucked away in the shadows of devastation. The team's mission is bold: to carve out a sanctuary amidst the chaos, to weave dreams where there once was despair. And now, they stand on the brink of their greatest endeavor yet – the creation of a beacon of hope, the Children’s Village. Here, every brick laid will be a promise of safety, every room a refuge of support. Staff will offer round-the-clock care, therapy, and education. Together, we can rewrite their stories, ignite their futures. Join The MeWe Club in helping to build not just a village, but a legacy of love and resilience. Your donation isn't just a gift – it's a testament to the power of compassion.
